North: 750 Facade and Interior Window Design
One of the projects I helped out with whilst working at North in the summer was a new design for the front window of 750, an audio design and post production studio in Golden Square, just off Piccadilly Circus in London. Keeping to the theme of music and sound, the window is supposed to be reminiscent of the speaker stacks you see at concerts etc by using the spaces within the white grid-like frames to act as individual speakers.
The material North chose to use to apply the designs onto the window is some special kind of gold foiling which in the daytime appears gold but at night turns into this beautiful kind of multicoloured pattern, shown below, caused by the light hitting the surface of the window from the streetlights outside which I wasn’t expecting at all when I first saw it in the dark.

As well as the facade window, another thing I helped design was this montage shown below by combining all of the logos of the companies they work with together to create the original shape of the 750 logo.
