Moderna Museet: Identity by Stockholm Design Lab and Henrik Nygren

One of the places I managed to visit in Stockholm this summer was the Moderna Museet (The Modern Museum) on the island of Skeppsholmen. I’d seen the identity of it before by Stockholm Design Lab and Henrik Nygren so it was definitely on my to-do list.

The interior and exterior signage are both really nice. The heavy use of arrows within the identity and the very Crouwel-esque typeface combine to form a very strong visual identity for a museum on a much quieter island slightly removed from the typical city attractions of Stockholm.
