Fourth Floor Corner Shop: 01 Nov - 22 Dec 2012

As you may or may not have noticed, about a week ago I put the logo shown above without any context, information or click-through link. Since being asked a few times what the logo is actually for, I can now reveal the details.

Fourth Floor, a hairdressing salon in Holborn will host the Fourth Floor Corner Shop during the months of November and December - a temporary shop on the top floor of the salon which will be selling a collection of items from local businesses in the immediate area of Clerkenwell and Bloomsbury (most of which are based on Lambs Conduit Street just around the corner). Those taking part in the project include Folk, Timothy Everest, The Espresso Room and Darkroom, amongst many others.  

As the salon is relatively tucked away in Clerkenwell, it gives the chance for both casual visitors and clients to browse the Fourth Floor Corner Shop without necessarily having booked an appointment beforehand. Like the rest of Fourth Floor, North have created the identity for it, a snippet shown above, which I personally can’t wait to see, including the signage, packaging, promotional material and of course the website.
